By purchasing, accessing, or using any Electropal hardware wallet device or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "User," or "you") and Electropal Ltd. ("Electropal," "we," "us," or "our"), an Irish limited company.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not purchase or use our products or services. Your continued use of our products constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these Terms.

2. Product Description and Specifications

Electropal manufactures and sells premium hardware wallets designed for secure cryptocurrency storage. Our products include:

  • Hardware Devices: Physical cryptocurrency storage devices with tamper-evident security features
  • Firmware: Embedded software that operates the hardware wallet functionality
  • Documentation: User manuals, security guides, and technical specifications
  • Support Services: Technical support, warranty services, and customer assistance
  • Software Tools: Companion applications and utilities for device management
  • Security Updates: Firmware updates and security patches
  • Educational Resources: Security best practices and usage guidelines

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

To purchase and use our products, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the purchase process
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Not be located in a country subject to international sanctions or embargoes
  • Not be listed on any government prohibited or restricted party lists
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Purchase Terms and Payment

Order Processing

All orders are subject to acceptance by Electropal. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

  • Prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and are subject to change without notice
  • All prices include applicable Irish VAT where required
  • Payment must be received in full before order processing
  • We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and approved payment methods
  • Orders are processed within 1-3 business days of payment confirmation
  • Shipping costs are calculated based on destination and shipping method selected
  • International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes
  • Order confirmation will be sent via email upon successful payment processing

5. Shipping and Delivery

We ship worldwide using secure, trackable shipping methods. Delivery terms include:

  • Processing Time: 1-3 business days for order processing and preparation

  • Delivery Timeframes: 3-7 business days within Europe, 7-14 days internationally
  • Tracking Information: Provided via email once the order ships
  • Delivery Confirmation: Signature required for all hardware wallet deliveries
  • Customs and Duties: Customer responsibility for international orders
  • Shipping Insurance: All orders are insured against loss or damage during transit
  • Address Accuracy: Customer responsible for providing accurate shipping addresses
  • Delivery Attempts: Multiple delivery attempts will be made by the carrier

6. Product Warranty and Support

Limited Hardware Warranty

Electropal provides a comprehensive warranty for our hardware wallet products:

  • Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects
  • Coverage: Hardware defects, component failures, and manufacturing issues
  • Exclusions: Physical damage, water damage, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
  • Remedy: Repair or replacement at Electropal's discretion
  • Warranty Claims: Must be submitted with proof of purchase and device serial number
  • Return Process: Defective devices must be returned using provided shipping labels
  • Data Recovery: Warranty does not cover data recovery or lost cryptocurrency
  • Firmware Updates: Free firmware updates provided for the warranty period

7. User Responsibilities and Obligations

As a user of Electropal products, you agree to:

  • Secure Storage: Maintain physical security of your hardware wallet device
  • Backup Procedures: Create and securely store backup recovery phrases
  • Software Updates: Install firmware updates promptly when available
  • Proper Usage: Use the device only for its intended purpose
  • Security Practices: Follow recommended security practices and guidelines
  • Legal Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws regarding cryptocurrency use
  • Incident Reporting: Report any security incidents or suspected compromises
  • Documentation Review: Read and understand all provided documentation
  • Support Cooperation: Provide necessary information when requesting support
  • Responsible Disclosure: Report security vulnerabilities through proper channels

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Electropal retains all intellectual property rights in our products and services:

  • Trademarks: Electropal name, logo, and product names are our trademarks
  • Patents: Hardware designs and security features may be patent-protected
  • Copyrights: Firmware, software, and documentation are copyrighted works
  • Trade Secrets: Proprietary security implementations and manufacturing processes
  • Open Source Components: Some firmware components are released under open source licenses
  • License Grant: Limited license to use firmware and software for intended purposes
  • Restrictions: No reverse engineering, decompilation, or unauthorized modification

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data handling practices include:

  • Collection of minimal personal information necessary for order fulfillment
  • Secure storage and processing of customer data in accordance with GDPR
  • No collection or storage of cryptocurrency private keys or transaction data
  • Limited sharing of information only with trusted service providers
  • Customer rights to access, correct, or delete personal information
  • Regular security audits and data protection assessments
  • Prompt notification of any data breaches affecting customer information

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Electropal's liability is limited as follows:

  • Direct Damages: Limited to the purchase price of the product
  • Consequential Damages: No liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Cryptocurrency Losses: No liability for cryptocurrency losses due to user error or external factors
  • Third-Party Services: No liability for third-party services or applications
  • Force Majeure: No liability for events beyond our reasonable control
  • Time Limitation: Claims must be brought within one year of the incident
  • Exclusive Remedy: Warranty replacement or repair is the exclusive remedy for defects
  • Business Interruption: No liability for business interruption or lost profits

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Electropal from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of our products or services
  • Violation of these Terms or applicable laws
  • Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
  • Unauthorized modifications to our products
  • Failure to follow security recommendations and best practices
  • Use of our products for illegal or unauthorized purposes

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Irish law and EU regulations:

  • Governing Law: Laws of Ireland and applicable EU directives
  • Jurisdiction: Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution: Mediation encouraged before litigation

  • Class Actions: Individual disputes only, no class action participation
  • Language: English language version controls in case of translation conflicts

13. Termination and Survival

These Terms remain in effect until terminated:

  • Termination by either party with written notice
  • Automatic termination upon material breach
  • Survival of warranty, liability, and intellectual property provisions
  • Return of products may be required upon termination
  • Continued effect of privacy and data protection obligations
